590R Rotary Safety Selector shotguns are the newest additions to Mossberg’s tactical lineup. They combine time-tested pump-action performance with ground-breaking new features like a rotary safety selector, an ergonomically-designed forend, and an integrated barrel/single piece heat shield combination.
- The new ambidextrous rotary safety selector switch can be easily reached without breaking grip. All models have a flat profile trigger with a smooth, crisp break.
- Among the lineup's features: Integrated barrel and heat shield combination; Compact, ergonomically-shaped forend.
- A new design elongated, beveled loading gate allows ease of loading, and has an exposed follower.
- The stock/base adapter provides five positions of LOP adjustment by use of the integrated lever, is compatible with various stock and grip designs, and has two QD mounting ports.
- The top picatinny rail is optimized for optics mounting and provides superior sight alignment. Adjustable Magpul MBUS3 two-piece pop-up sights are offered on select models.
- Front M-Lok adapter that provides dual-sided accessorry mounting slots for easy sling or tactical light customization.
